Love them both, but am particularly impressed w/the flip flop quilt. I have that pattern, but have not made it yet. I even bought some great flip flop printed fabric for backing. It is on my "To Do" list. Must say, I have no intention of doing such an elaborate boarder as you did. You did a great job! It is hard to tell by photo, but did you make it 3-D in terms of the straps on the flip flops? I love to embellish and this is the perfect pattern to have fun with. Mine is going to be a wall hanging, rather than a lap quilt, so it won't matter if I jazz up the flip flops w/ buttons, flowers, beads, etc. Thanks for sharing.
