A couple of years back I finally made the quilt for our California King bed with 20" drops on all sides. I planned on it being quilted by check & it came out wonderful. I promised myself that was my biggest quilt @ 120 x 120. It was Atkinson's scrappy stars in blue, gold & white.
Last spring, a friend of a friend wanted a t-shirt quilt. I received 54 kids t-shirts that looked brand new. Either these kids got 2 shirts or thay sat on the bench for years! He wanted the front & back to be together. It took about 6 months but I finally finished that one too. It was 120 x 130. It also was professionally quilted. He loved it!
I'm thru making big quilts!
