Deema, I am so sorry this happened to you. If you have the time, take out the quilting and put new batting in. I know that seems to be an awful lot of work and I am sure you have a million things to do for the early celebration. But, this is really all you can do. I am sure it is not the quilt front or back. Maybe you could enlist some help from a family member or neighbor or even a local quilt guild. Wish I were close enough, I would definitely help you. Bless your heart.
