Over the years, I've made a lot of quilts as donations to my children's schools and other charities. The quilts are used as raffle prizes or auction items at fundraising events. But these donations can be frustrating, too, because they often raise less money than I think they could if they had a bigger audience.
I was excited to find out yesterday that eBay offers a way to auction your quilts online and automatically donate some or all of the proceeds to a nonprofit organization.
I thought some of you might be interested in the article I just wrote about how quilters can use eBay's Giving Works program. I'm getting my daughters' schools to sign up so I can sell some quilts for them online. (BTW, I'm not connected to eBay in any way.)
