i was so fortunate to be able to keep my mom at home until she died. we had a lady that came & stayed with her from the time i left for work until i got home. i took care of her nights and weekends with some help from my daughter on sundays. we have a beautiful new nursing home in our town BUT they are understaffed just like every other NH. no one will take care of your loved ones like you do.
