This posting is for the several requests I got to show more pictures of this quilt!

This is the black, white and red quilt I made for my DSD and DSIL for Christmas. Her name is Psyche, and somehow I think this quilt deserves the name.
Look closely and see if you can find the joining strips. The quilt consists of nine big blocks, finished seperately up to the binding step. The nine block pieces are then joined into rows of 3X3. Then square up and bind. Quilting is in managable sized sections.Much easier to do!
It is still a lot to wrestle with at the end!
One picture shows how I got off in matching as I was sewing sections together! I learned to pin!!!
