Well, in my quest to make placemats for my son's family that match their brown and blue ceramics dishes (earth tones) I started to design my own and realized just how challenging that can be!!! After getting feedback from this board (which I really appreciate!!) I changed up the colors, got some different fabric and even re-did the entire design!
So...I'm liking this a lot more though I still see things I might have done differently...but I'm tired of ripping this poor thing apart so much! To get these done by Thanksgiving (I want to give it to them then so they can use them during Christmas season) I've got to get moving to get these done!
Now I understand more clearly the attraction to making a table runner...you only have to make one!...not 4 for a set! I think I'll do that next time instead! lol!
