First one has been done about a week, had to wait for a pretty day to get a pic. In the bright light, the colors are kinda washed out. I'm making another that will be very similar--I used a half yard bundle and divided it for the two two-going-on-three boys in my life. This one is for "Superman." The 3rd will be girly.
My first rag quilt!! It was fun! I haven't measured it, but I did 7 blocks X 6 blocks. The blocks started at 8 inches and I sewed a one inch seam. It is made of three layers of flannel. The layers are the same size, but I like the X's, so I quilted the blocks. Hasn't been washed yet. I'm waiting to finish the next two to take them all for a trip to the laundromat!
