This is my first post- have been reading and enjoying posts and pictures. I have a beautiful machine that I bought for sewing and quilting (Brother NX 2000). Thought I would do FM quilting using this machine. I know of a Voyager 17 longarm machine that is being sold for $2000, with frame, stitch regulator, etc. It is a used machine but the owner says it does not have alot of use since it is more or less a one person machine( fewer tension issues etc.) Thinking about whether to take the plunge with a longarm and does anyone have any thoughts on the Voyager. I did test drive one in a quilt shop a few months ago and was pleased with the ease- however, the bobbin thread ran out and the shop people made no move to replace it so that I could continue. (By the way, the owner of the used Voyager will set it up so I can test it all I want.)
