OK--I checked to be sure, and was told there is someone on TO who uses these in place of Davis longs. The dimensions match, BUT they have the opposite top of the Davis needles--I believe the tops are round as opposed to the DL flat-sided needle, so you have to be careful to put the needle in the right way. Don't forget that the latest DVF took a 15 x 1 needle.
