Yesterday, my 8 year old GD decided she wanted to sew something!! So, right off to the machine we went. She looses interest fast and I didn't want to take a chance!LOL I got out some charm squares, and showed her how to make one of those folded coaster. She dfid really good!! In fact, she made two!! Then little brother started bugging, so that was the end of that. She is coming for the day on Friday, and she wantsd to make more!!! And today, I got to our Walmart, and it does have fabric, not a huge amount, but enough to get what I was needing, and it was on bolts, not pre-cutsd, and it was Cranston cottons. Was able t o get the insulbrite( have to make some potholders and be ready for GD. Oh, made DIL an apron today too, and finsihed some PJ's for GS. Good day here!!
