I most definitely do put a label on each quilt. If one of my quilts happens to last 100 years and one of my descendents owns it, I certainly want them to know at least a little about the person who made it. I always put my name, my town, and the year, but sometimes add information on who the quilt was made for and/or the occasion. As I'm not really fond of the actual quilting process, I also give credit if someone other than me quilts it. Each and every quilt deserves a label which tells something about the person who gave of themselves in making it.
