When I was a little girl, I played on my grandmother's treadle sewing machine and stitched my finger. I remember crying for the longest because it hurt so much, but I don't remember bleeding at all. I probably didn't bleed, just cried! Since then I'm managed to keep my fingers out of the path of the needle. But I whacked a finger with the rotary cutter not so long ago. For that I did bleed!
