I guess I have been a bit rude. I have been reading posts for quite a long time now but have never introduced myself
I have been sewing for (More than40) many years but only started quilting in the last few. Sweing and now quilting is for me the best form of relaxation , except when things decide to go wrong.
I am a coordinator for a Project Linus Chapter here in the US so that is where many of my quilts go, especiallly if I want to try something new.
I have learned a lot from all the letters I read and from what is posted so maybe I will actually start to post some things. (When I have time to actuallly sit down and spend time n my computer) I also do machine embroidery so of course many times I combine the 2 loves into one.
I have been teaching a class on embroidery at our local senior center to help out some of the ladies who bought machines but were afraid to try them and I enjoy taking quilting classes when I can.
