He's generally quite flexible about how I do most things - the least I can do is put some prepared food in front of him now and then.
I tried that once or twice. I don't think "pleasant" would describe the efforts. My husband gently told me he'd take care of it. The dog wouldn't eat the stuff I'd cooked. :lol: We tell people he cooks out of self-defense. I do laundry and clean a bathroom now and again to make him feel loved.
