Not sure if they scared me, but after quilting for awhile, my confidence in my abilities has improved. I am willing to try a Dresden plate quilt, done in the vintage type fabric. Funny, eh? Anyone feel the same way or maybe even in reverse.
Mine too have changed from Traditional blocks to more of the applique patterns. I still do Traditional but I like to try different things. I get all the free patterns I can so I have something to go to if I get BORED with what I am doing.
