We all want peace on earth and for our children to be happy, but those are things they cannot wrap. Of all the people on our children's gift lists, we moms are the hardest ones they have to buy for. They appreciate it when we make them a list so they at least have an idea of what to get for us. My list has on it: a flannel nightgown, a particular book I'd like to read, dishcloths for my kitchen. You don't have to think of anything big, but just give them some ideas to pull from so they can wrap something for you to open on Christmas day. If you'll keep a notepad handy for that purpose, you can write things down as you think of them for a few days.
