Phyllis, it wasn't me--I live in Indiana County. But it is a small world :-D
Thanks to all for all the suggestions. I can see I'm going to have to do some more research and should probably see some machines in action.
It sure is a small world. I live in Indiana, Pa. I also have a Janome 6600 (which I love) but wanted a machine to do alphabets for quilt labels. I ordered online a Brother SE 400 which should arrive in a few days. Can't wait to learn machine embroidery!
