I know there are fabric stores in the London area, but I've not managed to find them yet. And looking on some of the locaters yields stores that are not easily accessible.
I was in Denmark for a week, including a day in Sweden and visited four shops (3 in Denmark, 1 in Sweden) and brought back enough material to make the customs agent raise his eyebrows a bit.
