What I came up with is a tea cozy with one side showing the London Roads block, the other showing the Alabama block (of course I will explain this to her, she is not a quilter). I wanted to play with prairie points and thought they may look cute here.

I know she likes pinks and blues, and her house is decorated with these colors throughout. So what do you think? Is it a good enough gift or should I change something? If you were Nana, do you think you'll like that?

Thanks all for any input, this is officially my first quilted gift to anyone outside the board swaps. Well, or my husband, but he loves everything I make, so he doesn't count  And it stays here:)
That is a wonderful gift. I am using this idea for my daughter in a quilt already. She was born and raised in TN and is married and living in KY.
