that is EXACTLY how I do it and BE SURE to get a pair of those little 2 inch blade Fisker scissors to snip. This spring loaded style is perfect becasue it tkes all the ''work'' out of opening the shears for you and the power in those little blades make the work go pretty fast!!

Be sure to clean your dryer lint trap every 4-5 minutes after you wash it for the first time....they shed lint like crazy for the first couple of washing and drying cycles!!!!!
