Bisquick is a baking mix that has all the ingredients in for you to start your baking with. All you need to add is water. You can make pancakes, waffles, dumplings, pie crusts -- this type of thing. It's handy and fast for a prepackaged mix already for you to start your baking with. The homemade version tastes better than the store bought. I have a recipe listed for making your own Bisquick.
