Well the top is done and I am waiting for the backing fabric to dry after drowning it in starch.
The more I look at it the more I hate it. I got a festive batik for the backing but it is just not melting my butter right now. I wish I had a small print or an broad cloth for the backing but I am going to finish the thing tonite!! Since my wife wanted something warm I got a high loft batting and I am going to quilt it very simple large cross hatch with the blocks STID quilted. It might not look that fancy or anything but if I quilted any way else it would compact the batting and it would not be as warm.
