Here is the Bow (Snap) Tuck purse I made for myself. I fell in love with the Happy Camper fabric by Richard Neuman. I ordered the material (4 patterns of it) to make a quilt. I have the quilt cut and ready to piece. I decided I had enough material to make the purse if I only made it 17" instead of 19" wide. I rarely follow a pattern without changing something so of course I changed a few things. The front pocket is larger because I was piecing fussy cut 4 patches. The handles are longer so it can be a shoulder bag. I wanted it to close so I made a little flap with magentic snaps. I am not a "bow" person so I put large snaps for the "tuck". May try velcro next time. Since the inside pockets had extra length I put a tuck in two of them to hold larger items. I used plastic canvas for the bottom and put it between the bag and lining. I also stitched the 8" opening in the lining closed which the instructions don't tell you to do. This way it is totally washable. Can't wait to make another. Next time I am going to let the lining show at the top to make a border.
