I came back to it about an hour later, only to discover that it hadn't over heated, but the quilt had knocked the cord such that it wasn't plugged in all the way!!!!
So.....I have now finished the centre, just the border left to quilt, then get the binding on.
Silly me!!!!! LOL

Had a similar thing happen to me once, of course its always at the absolutely W O R S T time. Fortunately my cries of despair caused DH to see if he could solve problem, and he found the problem! :D
