I have no expectations once I give away a quilt. When I give anything away, I'm totally prepared to let go both mentally and physically. Life is way too short to have worries or regrets about stuff over which I have no control.
It is thrilling to know the receiver of a quilt I've made likes it; to my knowledge, all the quilts I've given are loved & used & not badly abused.
