It is often said that quilting is supposed to be fun, not add more stress to your life. Perhaps finishing off the tops and seeing the finished products would bring some calm from your new found hobby. It would bother me not to have them completely done. I try to finish them off or almost anyway, b/4 starting another. Good Luck on sorting this all out. Enjoy those kids as they are grown and gone, way too soon.
