It's called a crumb quilt because you use all your little leftover fabric bits to make the scrappy. crazy blocks. They're like little crumbs of fabric. Each of those blocks in the center is 4", 3 1/2" finished. I used a variegated quilting thread for this stitching, but I often use DMC embroidery floss. I LOVE the colors in the DMC. Plus, because it's 6-stranded, you can blend colors, too.
