Beautiful! I've done a table runner using this method and must say the design is much more striking in a full size quilt.

Regarding the batting, I haven't used the Dream Puff but a good friend has and raved about it! I do however use Quilter's Dream battings almost exclusively - the best all purpose for machine quilting is their Blend which is 70%cotton 30% poly. In my experience, it stays much softer than Warm and Natural, even when closely quilted, though you can go as wide as 10" apart and when you wash the quilt, it doesn't shift at all. I also occasionally use the Poly Select or Request for wall hangings or bags.
