As I would be thinking how to quilt it, I would be keeping in mind how my mom would have quilted it - we have all these stencils w/ cutesy designs, but that wasn't always the case back then. I'd have to spend a lot of time looking at vintage and antique quilts to get an idea.

My quilt label might look something like:

Hand and machine pieced by Susie Cutesy Quilter Smith (4/4/1927 - 5/5/1988) at the age of 14. She was taught how to make quilts by sister, Georgia Porgia Quilter Jones(3/3/1924 - 4/7/1977). Hand quilted by daughter and niece Luckie Louise Smith Brown(12/11/1960) on a quilt-frame made by Luckie's sons - Georgie Porgie and Andy Dandy Brown.

I'd then sign it and date it w/ the city
