I think you may have created a whole new pattern! ;-)
That is exactly the pattern I used. LOL My colors are just very bold, look again and you'll see it. Look at the close up pics. Its the bold colors that are misleading, and of course I sewed my blocks together instead of using a sashing.
LOL Sure enough! I just got so institutionalized that I couldn't think outside of the box - - good for you! <wave>
