Sorry this has happened to you,but I would go ahead and give them. A few years back I made 22 Cowboy Boot stockings for family and later found out we were not to be giving gifts to the adults,oh well, I went ahead and gave them out everybody loved their special stocking and nobody's feelings were hurt. Least of all mine.
