The first year we moved to Anchorage there was 4 inches of ice everywhere. I thought, oh my, I sure hope this is not the norm. Well sometimes it sure is but it has not been that bad. Our dog couldn't even stand up outside. It was so funny to watch him. Fortunately the weather changes a lot here in Alaska and the ice melted away. Kenai I think gets worse weather at times.
