If I am not mistaken the cuff is two parts like the stocking and one side of the cuff is sewn to ne side of the stocking. then the stocking and cuff are sewn together giving the cuff a seam in the back just like the stocking. Then the cuff is folded down onto the stocking. You cut 2 pieces of each side of the cuff then tun and pin in place then the sock and cuff. Does that help?
