I have terribly deep, tricky, hard to get at veins. Unfortunately due to the medication I take, I have to go every month to have blood drawn. You have no idea how much I really appreciate a phlebotomist who has excellent needle skills! Anyway...enough of that...but I'm glad for you that you found quilting .... and it's connection to your job!
I think my quilting addiction came from my job too....I worked in the book trade for years. So many fantastic picture books, art books, then I discovered quilting books...that was it!
