I had a male quilter group here in the area for awhile. It started out great but eventually dwindled down into uncertain attendance. However, there are two shops in the are that have male groups. I don't know what the attendance is.
When I started the one here, One of the local papers did a good article. Get on the Yahoo group and start asking questions and others will tell you of their experience.
I would suggest you go to the shop and ask for a private lesson to get started. (if they will do that)
