Bev, it really is easy to do!! I have used that pattern to teach a couple how to piece quilts!! Easy and Fast and doesn't require fancy quilting stitches either, you can just quilt along the diagonal cause it is a 9in finished block!!!
i guess it scares me cuz i normally just make up my own quilts and shy away from actual patterns.. BUT I did try the shoofly and i think i did fairly well ..... I'll try it as I now have that pattern.....
