Use a pastel color which would coordinate with the majority of the flowers in your ring. I prefer a pale color as to not overpower the ring. I used a pale ecru and embroidered a small lazy daisy in the middle of it (with a couple of green leaf's of course.

One more question for you.... I now that this is my quilt and that I can do about anything I want but my issue with colors well lets just say Thank goodness that there was a time when plaids and strips matched!!! Ok back to the question. I have a bunch of white on white fabric that are different styles and wondered if the DWR could be scrapy or should I stick with one color for the middles of the rings?
