Hello from Southeast Pennsylvania.
I hand pieced and quilted a quilt @ 20 years ago, but never went any further at that time. I've done many other forms of needcraft since then.
This summer I got back into quilting and am loving it. My avatar is a block from the queen-sized quilt I first began working on, and am still working on. It was made by needle turn applique.
Surprisingly (to me), I have two other lap quilts and two christmas stockings also in progress, and just picked up fabric for a bow tuck purse. I physically have to stop myself for looking for fabric for other projects so I can focus on my current work-in-process. Quilting is addicting!
I am also a wife and mother to two daughters, ages 7 and 8.
The Quilting Board is a wonderful source of information! I look forward to learning more from all of you.
