I purchased a whole cloth quilt kit with the quilt pattern printed on it. The fabric is a preshrunk muslin which I'm not crazy about. I want to use the preprinted side as the back of the quilt and buy a new solid fabric to be the top.
Is Kona a good choice for the top of the quilt? Will it be easy to hand quilt?
Or any other suggestions.
It would be nice if I could find a wide fabric so I don't have to piece the top, but it must hand quilt nicely.
