Not sure what you can do at this point that wouldn't involve ripping it out. I have made one that I didn't use the fleece on the lining part. I used a heavy interfacing instead. It was ok, but I think the fleece would have been better. When sewing thru the thickness during the assembly part, I found that using a walking foot helped.
Okay, thanks for your help, katier825. You are so right I mis-read the instructions and thankfully I don't have to do any ripping. I was sandwiching the lining and its fleece and the out-side and its fleece. I don't have those sewn together yet!!! Now I think I may have this done in no time!! Thanks so much!!
So now that you cleared my brain, I don't really even have to quilt the lining if I don't want to, huh? It will have a little quilting when I add the inside pockets. Now I am excited to get to work on it again come day-light!!
