In your second layout they look perfect to me for the pattern. Barb will need to know: on the pattern, the light colors are ?5? rows and the yellow on the pattern is the ?6? th row? And in your 2nd fabric layout your 1st 5 fabrics are light to creme, then you have an ?orange? so that orange will be where the yellow in the pattern picture is? Right? If so, I think you are ready to cut. Good job! I am going to love it. Let's see what Barb says.
Let's see--there are 6 considered cream to yellow/orange, then 9 for the mid section--the directions just said autumn colors, then 5 greens.

Since I have never done a bargello like this, I don't think I am qualified to say if the arrangement is done. The are beautiful colors and all go well with each other. I think you will know when it is right...think you have already said...Done.
