I love tattoos. I think they are artwork to be shown. My first one is a tribal sign on my leg...I was 18 and my mom said "make sure it's small, you'll have it forever". It's on the side of my calf and about a foot long :). I still love it and I'm 31 now.
Then I got a purple sun around my belly button(that one hurt). Then I got my daughters name in Chinese on my arm, and my second daughters name with a flower on the back of my neck. I still need to get one for my son but can't decide on how I want it done.
My only request is, make sure you get it done with a clean tattoo artist. The one I go to is super clean!!! He even bleaches the whole room down in between customers. He's a little bit more expensive, but it's well worth it.
