Wow, your redwork quilt is absolutely stunning. I agree with everyone that you should hand quilt it. Holice is correct....quilt around the designs (outline them to make them stand out), then, I'd do an old-fashioned cross hatch pattern. Let us see how it turns out, or, even work-in-progress.
