I just made myself a fleece moebius scarf and used it. I love it. It lays much flatter than a regular zig zag and is quite stretchy too. When I mend my sheets I go over the tear with that. Play with it. You will be surprised how handy it is. There are a lot of the fancy stitches that are great to use for various techniques.
