I am visiting the New Orleans , La area and have met up with a great gal named "sweet" or Sue from the board. she took me to 3 diffetent quilt shops , lunch on the river, lighthouse, allegator hunt, and antiques shops. what a great time I had. Sue makes a great tour guide. She is such a nice person and I hope that I have made a new lifelong friend. The shops down here have different material than in Ohio and staff is very friendly and helpful. I bought fabric for 2 quilts, Christmas wall hanging, Mardi Gras wallhanging, and 3 other wallhangings. I learned quilting tips and info about the southern customs.
