Ok, I planned to spend tonight sew/quilting. Fate had other plans. I dealt with a sick kid all day, usually not a stressful event however, he's been off for most of a week. Last Friday was a PD day, then the weekend, then winter kicked us in the teeth and we had 3 snow days, He went to school yesterday, and woke up with a fever today. If I hear "I'm bored" one more time, I will not be responsible for my actions!
Then my laptop crashed. So, I drove across the city to drop it off at the home of my IT guy (he works from home.) Finally, I got to do some sewing. But, since I came home last Friday from the doctor's office with this lovely wrist splint (yuck) for carpal tunnel syndrome, my sewing is not as easy and swift as usual.
I did get some blocks done. I'm hoping to make a queen size quilt. These blocks finish at 10" square. I think I'll mix them up with some solid blocks, maybe some 4 patches, and 9 patches, maybe a friendship star or two and maybe play with using different size blocks. I think this will be one that needs to go on a design wall during it's creative process.
