If you made it 10 squares by 10 squares you would have a piece 55.5 by 55.5 inches. (10 x 10 = 100 and 6 inch square when sewed with 1/4 seam allowance becomes a 5 1/2 square. 5 1/2 x 10 = 55.50 inches)
