Those are good colors to go with this not sure how 70's it is but the colors are spot on, this is just my take on what I would consider doing.
Block in block ( frame ) some of the large- med prints with the more solid ones, can also be rectagular,
*large - med prints meaning in pict bottom right, middle, and top right. for the centers.
*outer frame, olive green top right, yellow bottom right,middle top green, almost solid yellow right middle.
Clear as mud lol, I can see it just don't know if written it made any since, Good Luck , yes want to see what was done :)
