Somehow catch her attention for about 10 minutes and show her some samples. Have a lap top readily available so you can go online to get samples. She herself may have absolutely NO idea of what she wants, and it's possible that when she sees what you came up with that won't be what she thought she wanted in the first place.
Get her pinned down on ideas, colors and, if possible, patterns.
